Background

           Paul writes around 56 A.D. from Corinth.

           Clues: Phoebe, Gaius, Erastus

           ROME: Population 1 million in less then 10 sq miles, ethnically diverse.

Paul has plans to visit Rome after he completes his God-given mission.

                       Romans 15:22-25; Acts 19:21; 24:17

Questions:  How did the Church get to Rome?

                       Did Paul ever make it to Rome?

                       Who was the Roman Emperor?

Who was the head of the Church in Rome?

Was Paul’s attitude toward Gentiles different from his attitude toward his fellow Jews?

The book of Leviticus offers vital understanding for a life of faith.

         What is the desired outcome of the faith that Paul preaches?
